About The Effective IT 2004 initiative:
The Effective IT 2004 initiative identifies best practice in IT – and that means the most effective strategies, techniques and technologies. Beginning with deep research across the Information Age and M-iD audiences, the initiative includes the annual Effective IT Report, the Effective IT Case Study Library, the Effective IT Summit series, and the Effective IT Awards programme.
The Effective IT Awards 2004 are designed to highlight the effective use of technology across a broad range of industries and across all company sizes. The emphasis is on rewarding projects that have not only helped save money, but that have delivered tangible benefits to the business in terms of improved business processes or enhanced capabilities. All entries for the Effective IT Awards 2004 will be subjected to a rigorous selection process, led by Information Age's and M-iD's highly respected journalists and supported by an independent panel of experts. There is no fee for entering, and all shortlisted companies will be invited to the Gala Charity Ball on July 6th as the guests of Information Age and its sponsors.
Entries are already being accepted – at www.effectiveITawards.com – and tables are for sale – at £1,250 for a table of 10. All revenue from table sales will be donated the Wooden Spoon, the Effective IT 2004 beneficiary charity. There are sponsorship opportunities available for each of the Effective IT Award categories.
