About

Kayleigh Bateman was the Editor of Information Age in 2018. She joined Vitesse Media from WeAreTheCIty where she was the Head of Digital Content and Business Development. During her time at WeAreTheCity she launched its technology arm WeAreTechWomen, covering stories about diversity in tech and growing the WeAreTechWomen community through events, an annual conference and awards. She previously worked as the Special Projects Editor for Computer Weekly, owned by TechTarget, and was the launch Editor of CW Europe. Kayleigh joined TechTarget as the Site Editor for SearchVirtualDataCentre.co.uk and later became the Managing Editor for the company’s five UK search sites. She started her career, in technology, as a Reporter on CRN UK at Incisive Media. Kayleigh attended the University of Hertfordshire, where she studied for her BA in English Literature, Journalism and Media Cultures. In her spare time she is on call with the British Red Cross as South East Emergency Response.
