About us

Information Age, since its launch in 1995, has focused exclusively on the strategies and technologies involved in maximising business performance through effective information and technology management. Beyond the magazine and this, its web site, Information Age has spun out its successful formula into large-scale conferences, one-day seminars, private lunches, and research, online and offline. Information Age has become a specialist in creating trusted environments to connect business with providers of information technology products and services – in print, online, in person. If you are interested in becoming involved as a Partner in any Information Age activities please contact us.

Information Age was owned by Infoconomy, a London-based company established in 2000 with private equity funding. In 2001, Infoconomy was the PPA’s (Periodical Publishers Association) Publisher of the Year. In late 2007, Infoconomy was acquired by Vitesse Media plc.

Vitesse Media plc is a fast-growing media company quoted on AIM, touching 1.2 million businesspeople in UK plc every month, through its 5 print publications, its 15 web sites, +100 events, and award-winning research. The acquisition by Vitesse Media of Infoconomy delivered deep information technology expertise, on both the user and supplier sides, creating access to the top end of UK business for Vitesse content. For Infoconomy’s marketing partners, the acquisition offers wider reach and influence across the most interesting, acquisitive and fastest growing businesses in the UK.
