Effective IT Summit
The Effective IT Summit, Information Age’s flagship annual conference, is a unique event. At times inspirational, at times quirky, always educational and engaging – there is nothing quite like it on the IT community’s calendar. Now in its fourth year, Information Age has established an event that is relaxed, interactive and participative which attracts senior people from the user side of the IT industry who want to learn, network and share their concerns.
The content is strategic, high-level, visionary and stimulating, with a unique format designed to encourage maximum interaction and participation. Interspersed with challenging and thought-provoking presentations from visionaries and practitioners of Effective IT, the major part of the Effective IT Summit consists of discussion groups and roundtables moderated by experts. The output will be captured by our journalists and packaged for distribution to all Information Age readers.
In 2007, to encourage delegates to forget their day-to-day concerns and concentrate on the big issues in IT and business, Information Age moved the conference successfully to a country location near Cardiff, Wales. The move helped to bond the participants together in way that rarely occurs in central London conferences. This year’s event will be at the same venue in Wales.
In keeping with its heritage, The Effective IT 2007 Summit will go straight to the heart of the big strategic issues facing IT leaders in business. This year’s event will include speakers and themed discussions in these key areas:
The 20/20 Enterprise strives to be:
more agile and adaptive
more creative and collaborative
more predictive, governable and better informed
more efficient and less-resource intensive
more robust and secure
