Following the success of Information Age's Spring Forum event in April, we are now preparing for the Information Age Autumn Forum 2009.

Taking place on Thursday October 22nd at the Novotel London St Pancras, the event comprises two complementary and parallel streams, which are detailed below. The content of both streams is united by a common theme; the impact of cloud computing on the way in which enterprises organise, manage, share and protect their information.

Information, Communication & Collaboration

The gradual expansion of the corporate information architecture to include elements outside of the traditional infrastructure has radical implications for the way businesses share and analyse information, communicate with one another and collaborate.

The Information, Communication & Collaboration 2009 event will play host to experts, practitioners and analyst as they discuss these effects, touching on such themes as:

•    Business intelligence

•    Web 2.0

•    Data warehousing

•    Network virtualisation

•    Content management

•    Voice over IP

•    Search

•    Master data management

Enterprise Security & Continuity

The credit squeeze has inspired a new wave of security and continuity service offerings that take capital cost out of the IT equation. The drive towards cloud computing, with organisations investigating both internal and external clouds, represents as many challenges for security and continuity services as business opportunities.

Information Age’s Enterprise Security & Continuity 2009 conference, will host insider presentations and debate from analysts, chief security officers, business continuity managers and consultants on the threats to organisations and the new service-centric delivery models.  Topics under discussion will include:

•    Lost or exposed data

•    Security holes in packaged software

•    Malicious viruses

•    Hacking by professional criminals

•    Social engineering

•    Phishing scams

•    Power outages

•    Server failure
