Taking place on April 22, 2010
in the Melia White House Hotel, London
Introduction
IT Management has never been an easy task. While large organisations grapple with complexity, scale, culture & change, smaller businesses often struggle with products that they find inflexible, non scalable or expensive. However in terms of annual growth rates, medium sized businesses often out perform larger enterprises and therefore present opportunities for managed services providers.
Hosting & Managed Services 2010 was this year a stand alone conference targeting up to 200 IT Managers and Directors from medium sized businesses in the UK. The aim of the conference was to provide delegates with rich experience, hearing from experts in the field and learning how their business could benefit from hosting and managed service providers.
On the day delegates shared expertise and learned about unfolding developments in the Managed Services arena. Delegates heared how key issues and services can benefit business and more importantly, how to develop an effective IT strategy.
On the day, topics under discussion included:
•Developing Managed Services Strategies that optimise the balance between costs, quality & flexibility
•Financial gains from managed services & network sharing
•Cloud vs managed services
•Platform as a service
•Security & reliability
•Infrastructure and Support
•Managed networking infrastructures
