The Total Cost of IT 2010
About this event
This event, taking place on the 20th of January 2010 at the Kings Cross Novotel in London, examines approaches to IT management and technology deployment that ensure that the cost of IT operations is kept down, and that maximum business value is created by technology investments.
Through the lifecycle of every IT department, new hardware, software and services are procured, tested and applied. However, whilst the aim might be to reduce costs, improve efficiencies or expand capabilities, implementations are not always successful.
Information Age is currently conducting a market survey to understand how successful new IT projects have been, what factors have helped/hindered and what could be improved.
In January 2010, the results of the survey will be used as the theme for the information age Total cost of IT conference. The conference will be attended by up to 150 delegates from the UK leading enterprises holding the title of IT Director, CIO/CTO.
The delegates will be presented with a summary of IT projects from 2009 from both a private and public perspective. As the day progresses, the delegates will be invited to look forward to their plans for 2010, learning from previous projects understand some of the current gains and pitfalls to look out for.
The conference will be punctuated with several networking breaks, including, breakfast presentation, round table lunches and an evening drinks reception.
