Data warehousing is fast becoming a prerequisite of corporate computing. According to estimates from research consultancy IDC, sales of analytic software will reach $16 billion by 2003. Meanwhile, NCR, the business intelligence (BI) tools vendor, says that the data warehousing market is now growing at an annual rate of 20%.
