The launch of Certua’s Enterprise Insurance platform aims to connect ecosystems through technological innovation and the intelligent use of data. This will allow companies to access their full service platform, via API.

The launch of the platform means that Certua now supports the ability for distributors to simply ‘plug in’ via API and tightly integrate into Certua’s state of the art financial services platform.

The platform can quickly build dynamic and adaptable insurance products, with the ability to support the entire insurance product lifecycle.

Innovative insurance

Certua’s offering is designed to allow companies looking to distribute innovative new insurance products to get to market quickly and to enable insurers and re-insurers to access new digital markets by removing technological barriers to entry, by leveraging Certua’s Financial Services platform.

Sherpa, an InsurTech company focused on personal risk management, is the first distribution partner to leverage Certua’s Enterprise Insurance platform, in a successful collaboration with established re-insurer Gen Re and manufacturer Scottish Friendly.

The Sherpa launch demonstrates Certua’s ability to enable distributors to broaden their offerings and remove technical limitations that currently inhibit new digital markets for insurers and re-insurers

Certua Enterprise Insurance Platform supports the creation and distribution of modern, dynamic and adaptable insurance products.

It will provide rates, recommendations, underwriting and claims rule-sets, along with compliant documentation and digital payment methods, as part of an end-to-end solution, which links clients, distributors and underwriters effectively and efficiently.

This ability to configure and vend products via Enterprise API enables distribution partners to integrate innovative insurance propositions seamlessly into their own existing user journey, in a way that clients appreciate.
