Cognizant starts new year with new UK&I managing director, Rob Walker

Walker, who most recently served as UK&I advisory markets lead at EY, began his role as UK&I managing director at Cognizant on the 1st January, and will lead all aspects of the company’s operations in the region.

Reporting to Ursula Morgenstern, Cognizant’s head of global growth markets, Walker’s duties will cover strategic planning, commercial development, and client delivery.

The new appointment brings 24 years’ experience in advising clients from a variety of industries, including FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 firms.

At EY, where he served as a partner for 14 years, Walker drove growth and go-to-market strategies, and worked with a broad range of national, regional and global companies, while successfully building and leading highly effective teams.

A particular focus has been on helping clients improve the efficiency of their business through the use of emerging technologies and digital capabilities, which Walker will look to continue at Cognizant.
