Dublin’s ‘The Exo’ achieves WiredScore’s highest connectivity rating

It has been announced that Dublin’s soon-to-be tallest office building, the Exo, has been awarded the highest rating for connectivity, achieving a ‘Wired Certified Platinum’ rating from Wiredscores.

Connectivity key for digital future

Wired Certification is an examination of the connectivity of office buildings, with criteria points covering Wi-Fi strength, wayleave agreements and cable pathways.

As reported in Irish Tech News, the Exo (situated at Point Square, beside the 3 Arena on Dublin’s north docks) is one of only three Irish office buildings currently available to lease on the market to achieve the rating. Notable features that led to it securing this accreditation include;

 Universal communication chamber enabling faster cabling installation.
 Larger telecom ducts.
 Three communication risers for flexibility
 Backup generator for building and space for private occupier generator.
 Fibre infrastructure.
