EDS leadership to quit HP

The senior executive team of IT services company EDS is preparing to leave the company, according to reports. The departure comes one year after EDS was acquired by computing giant Hewlett-Packard for $14 billion.

EDS’s head of finance Tom Haubenstricker, its HR chief Mike Paolucci and head of sales Bobby Grisham are all set to leave over the next two months. The company’s former CEO Ron Rittemeyer left at the end of last year.

Although it does have executives with experience of running large IT services practices, these departures are not fantastic news for HP.

The HP-EDS acquisition is expected to have cost around 25,000 workers their jobs when redundancies are complete.
