Google Cloud and Renault partner to accelerate Industry 4.0

Groupe Renault are set to leverage AI and ML capabilities from Google Cloud, combining this with extensive automotive industry expertise in order to develop new vertical solutions, and reduce its carbon footprint.

The partnership aims to accelerate production facility and supply chain digitisation, in order to increase efficiency and improve production quality.

Groupe Renault has been developing its own digital platform since 2016, which connects and collates data from 22 sites and over 2,500 machines worldwide, representing 76% of vehicle production. Google Cloud will aid the optimisation of this platform.
