A dedicated cloud role

By introducing Rami into a dedicated cloud role, Mitel can accelerate its growth, increase its footprint in this market and provide the tailored support that customers need when migrating to cloud. This will also ensure that customers who are yet to begin their cloud journey will continue to receive the support they deserve from Mitel.

Rami will be based in the UK, reporting directly to Jeremy Butt, Senior Vice President International at Mitel.

He brings 25 years of experience to his role, having worked on the cutting edge of communications for enterprises and homes since the 1990s, when he began building high-speed fibre networks for 3Com and Allied Telesis.

Rami joins most recently from Broadsoft where as Vice President of Cloud (EMEA) he developed a business strategy and plan to scale their UCaaS business and helped to champion and establish a cloud sales culture in the region prior to the company being acquired.

Before that, as the founding Managing Director of the UK subsidiary of the German group NFON AG, he built a strong channel-led cloud communications provider business, growing the company into one of the leading players in the market in just under four years.
