Paessler appoints Joachim Weber as CTO

Monitoring software platform Paessler has announced the appointment of former Trend Micro and EMC executive Joachim Weber as its new CTO

As CTO, Weber will lead the growing development team at Paessler, oversee continued enhancements to the product portfolio, and lead introduction of new features, functionality, and offerings to customers.

Additionally, Weber is aiming to expand Paessler’s influence in the IT monitoring space, and extend to other areas such as healthcare and IoT.

Weber brings over 30 years’ industry experience to Paessler, having previously spent the last 20 years at Trend Micro and EMC Corporation, holding an array of global and EMEA leadership positions.

While at Trend Micro, Weber was responsible for all technical areas, such as presales, post-sales, consulting, training, technical support, and product management.

Prior to this, Weber focused on virtual data centre practices and global services across channels and markets at EMC.
