Atos extends partnership with HMRC to provide application testing services

IT service and consulting company Atos has secured a new contract with HMRC, to provide application testing services for the UK governmental department

The contract, which is secured for up to four years, will look to support the critical testing services that underpin HMRC’s core capabilities, alongside a number of Atos‘s partners.

The programme will use AI and automation capabilities to deliver a flexible, responsive and quality testing service, further building HMRC’s internal capability for the future.

This builds on Atos’s existing contract with the UK Government department to provide technical and operational support.

The latest contract is aligned with the strategic ambitions of HMRC, which include supporting wider government economic aims through a resilient, agile tax administration system.

Both initiatives form part of HMRC’s wider technical, commercial and capability modernisation programme, which aims to improve the user experience for the citizens and businesses it serves.
