Double take – junk email…

… The annual cost of spam is $2.5 billion for European companies and $8.9 billion for US corporations, says a Ferris Research study. The cost estimate is based on the average time it takes workers to deal with a message, the cost of more powerful servers and more bandwidth to cope with message volume, and the cost of technical support.

… About 70% of workers in the US receive very little spam and 50% received no spam at work at all, according to Pew Research.

An explanation? Perhaps every worker receiving junk email spends all day deleting it.
