IRIS Software Group appoints Alan Hartwell as group CTO

IRIS Software Group has announced the appointment of former Capita and XUBER executive Alan Hartwell as its new group CTO

As new group chief technology officer, Hartwell will oversee evolution of IRIS’s cloud offering, as well as further developing product engineering capabilities to support its increasingly international expansion.

At IRIS, Hartwell’s mission will be to accelerate success and focus on the next stage of flexible, integrated cloud software innovation, to help retain competitive advantage.

Bringing over 25 years’ senior level experience supporting and leading acquisition, consolidation and integration of products and technologies, Hartwell joins from Capita, where he held the role of chief operations and technology officer.

Prior to Capita, where he served for five years, he was CTO at XUBER (now part of DXC Inc.), and has held multiple senior technology development and implementation, consulting and marketing roles at companies including Oracle and Exela Technologies.
