Juniper Networks announce upgraded 5G-ready firewall card

The new product, named the SPC3 Advanced Security Acceleration card, will be added to Juniper’s line of SRX5000  Services Gateways, and is said to offer an 11x performance boost.

The card will aid businesses, particularly service and cloud providers, to meet the high demand of security that comes with developments within multicloud, internet of things (IoT), 5G and the enterprise edge.

“Juniper’s SRX5000 line of firewalls with SPC3 Advanced Security Acceleration ensures our customers have powerful security without sacrificing the performance, scale and agility needed to stay aligned with changing business needs.”
