Mindtree and Duck Creek upgrade digital services for UPC Insurance

As a result of the transformation project undertaken by Mindtree and Duck Creek, the digital services of UPC have been moved onto one platform, enabling the launch of a whole new subsidiary company — catastrophe insurance provider, Skyway Technologies.

UPC is now able to provide enhanced customer experience through SaaS-based core systems, including policy, billing, claims, data insights, and insurance technology solutions.

With heightening customer expectations around fast and convenient processing of claims, UPC has successfully modernised its IT systems, enabling improvement of operational efficiencies and processing of claims in a matter of minutes instead of hours.

About UPC Insurance

UPC focuses on providing catastrophe exposed property insurance in the coastal U.S., for personal and commercial properties.

Digitally-enabled, the underwriter provides customers with faster intake of first notice of loss (FNOL), touchless claims handling, and enhanced payment capabilities, including digital payments.

In addition, following implementation of the transformation, UPC can leverage analytics across the organisation, in order to take an insights-driven approach to optimising customer experiences.
