The agreement allows MTI to provide ‘Specialist Security Services’ to NHS Digital and support their work with the NHS as it continues to improve its cyber security posture.
NHS Digital is the technology and information partner to the National Health Service (NHS).
This means the MTI will be able to provide ‘Specialist Security Services’ to NHS Digital in their efforts to improve the cyber security posture across the healthcare system in England.
The ‘Specialist Security Services framework’ is worth roughly £20 million, and it enables the NHS to access more capacity and expert capability to support the health and care organisation, ensuring the patient and clinical benefits of new technology in health are maximised while risks are reduced.
Scott Haddow, MTI CEO, stated: “Being awarded this security services framework is a significant win for MTI and illustrates just how seriously we take our growth and investment plans.”
“Cyber & Data security is now one of the top priorities for CIOs in both private and public sector organisations.”
“MTI’s capabilities in this space coupled with our wider IT transformation and managed service experience positions us an ideal partner with NHS Digital, as they look to further support the health and care sector to modernise local IT environments while minimising risk.”
