Target Group appoints John Barker as CEO

Business transformation company Target Group has announced the appointment of its former chief operating officer John Barker as new CEO

Barker had previously served as Target Group‘s COO since September 2021, overseeing all internal operations at the process outsourcing and software solutions, which was acquired by Tech Mahindra in 2016.

Prior to Target Group, Barker spent 13 years in leadership roles at Capita, including head of operations, director of operations and most recently managing director.

During his career, Barker has demonstrated strong expertise in people and purpose-led service transformation, delivering colleague, customer and client outcomes and meeting the strategic objectives of businesses and clients.

“Target has great appetite and ambition. Customer and colleague centricity is core to our purpose. This, coupled with strong delivery of digital and technology transformation, we aim to double our revenue in three years’ time,” said new Target Group CEO, Barker.

“I’m really excited to lead the business in this next phase of our evolution.”
