Websense

Information security vendor Websense argues that trying to defend against malware threats using separate email, web and data security tools is an approach that can easily be compromised.

For example, a spam email may contain a link to a website that automatically downloads a virus designed to steal data. With a combined web-data-email approach, there are three lines of defence against this common form of ‘blended’ attack.

Websense calls its combined approach, which it presents in this video, ‘Essential Information Protection’.
