Albert Santiago appointed first CIO of Forensic Risk Alliance (FRA)

New FRA chief information officer Santiago will oversee the global strategy and operations for the company’s information technology (IT) and information security (IS) departments.

The new appointment brings over 20 years’ network engineering, administration and IT project management experience to the position, with Santiago having held leadership positions in IT security within both the public and private sectors, including the Department of Homeland Security.

The hiring of Santiago for the newly established role of chief information officer looks to enhance FRA’s internal capabilities in response to constant changes in data governance and regulatory compliance.

The new role will focus on leading the team in executing the company’s strategic and operational objectives using technological, operational and procedural systems and platforms, to ensure that operations for FRA and its clients are kept secure.
