First Derivatives hires Eric Raab as CTO for its KX division

New KX CTO Raab, who will report directly to First Derivatives CEO Seamus Keating, will be responsible for research and development and the technology roadmap at KX, with a focus on accelerating expansion of its platform across industries.

Raab joins KX from Information Builders (recently acquired by TIBCO), where he served as CTO, overseeing and managing all technology projects within the firm, including software research and development and quality assurance.

Prior to this, Raab was CTO of digital marketing firm Yodle Inc. (now part of Web.com), as well as holding CTO and senior engineering positions within telecoms and networking firms, including M5 Networks and Line2.

KX will look to leverage its new CTO’s extensive experience in designing and delivering cloud infrastructure strategies, as well as leading product development, as the analytics provider looks to build on its growth strategy.
