“The first thing that struck me about NTT DATA was that its company values very much align to my own,” said new NTT DATA UK head of insurance Gulzar. “It focuses on building the right culture to help its people thrive, champions diversity and inclusion, and believes in business based on people rather than processes.

“This year has been challenging for the insurance sector. It has reminded us of fast-changing nature of risk, and the need to be nimble and act quickly. The good news is that technology has a huge part to play in future success in this industry.

“It enables our insurance clients to be agile in times of change, and it allows us to innovate so our clients stay ahead of the competition. I’m excited to help NTT DATA further build its offering, and to continue to partner with our clients to ensure they achieve their business goals.”

Simon Williams, CEO of NTT DATA UK, commented: “It is a pleasure to welcome Dean to NTT DATA UK. His wealth of experience will prove invaluable as we continue our growth within insurance, expanding our offerings for the sector under his lead.

“Our deep-rooted heritage in accelerating innovation is affirmed by our client base of global insurance companies with whom we pride ourselves on building long-term partnerships.”
