Doctor Care Anywhere appoints Ben Kent as COO

Kent joins Doctor Care Anywhere as COO as the company aims to drive growth in this crucial time of pandemic, taking over from interim COO Carl Engelmarc, who has shifted to the role of strategic adviser.

The newly appointed executive previously held a range of C-suite roles within healthcare and insurance, including group director of finance at Bupa, and chief financial officer at Simplyhealth.

With a proven track record in delivering strategic transformation and business development, Kent will be responsible for overseeing the aim to become a leader in digital health, focusing on development of the business’s strategic presence worldwide.

Additonally, scaling up additional value streams, including virtual specialist and mental health capabilities, will be among Kent’s duties.
