Future Stars of Tech 2020 winners revealed

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the decision was made for the physical Future Stars of Tech Awards ceremony to be cancelled for 2020, however the winners were still announced virtually via social media, with the brightest young female tech talent being recognised.

A shortlist was announced in May for the awards, which aims to promote female participation and prospective advancement within the tech sector. Currently, women occupy just 16% of IT jobs in the UK, as well as less than 14% of CIOs, less than 10% of tech CEOs, and less than 5% of board directors within tech firms.
