Mindtree appoints Venu Lambu as global markets president

The new Mindtree president of global markets, who will be based in London will be responsible for accelerating revenue growth, as well as formulating strategic direction and business development.

Lambu‘s previous leadership experience includes tenures at Cognizant, HCL Technologies and IBM. At HCL, he served as vice-president and head of Europe from 2006 to 2013, before going on to spend six years at Cognizant to hold its global head of infrastructure and cloud services position, as well as serving as its senior vice-president and global markets head.

The new Mindtree president has a Bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering from the University of Mysore and a general management certification from London Business School.
