NTT appoints Abhijit Dubey as new global CEO

New NTT CEO Dubey will will continue to help clients through their digital transformations, while maintaining focus on utilising tech for good.

Dubey will be based at NTT’s London headquarters, and will work with predecessor Goodall on a three-month handover period before Goodall retires from his executive role on the 30th June 2021.

The new executive appointment will bring over 20 years of experience with global advisory firm McKinsey & Company, and prior to joining McKinsey in 2000, he served as a senior field engineer at Schlumberger.

Current CEO, Goodall, commented: “We are looking forward to welcoming Abhijit to the NTT family in 2021 to lead the next generation of our business.

“He brings many years’ experience of our industry and context, as well as a strong track record in delivering high performance and profitability in organisations, having advised clients on a range of strategic, operational, and go-to-market challenges.

Following retirement from his current position, Goodall will remain at NTT as a board director, as well as acting as a strategic advisor for the NTT Venture Capital business, and continuing to serve on the board at Dimension Data.

Commenting on Goodall’s pending departure from his role in 2021, Tsunehisa Okuno, chairman of NTT Ltd., said: “I’d like to thank Jason for his service and commitment to our business for over 23 years, and look forward to welcoming and working with Abhijit as he joins us in 2021.”
