Software AG launches ARIS Process Mining SaaS

The new process mining SaaS platform from Software AG aims to help businesses and employees from all backgrounds to amend process bottlenecks and inefficiencies.

Accessible through the cloud, the platform brings a revamp to the user interface, and caters to users who are new to process mining, as well as making tasks in this area more efficient for more experienced users.

ARIS Process Mining allows users to assess every element of digital business operations, including finding patterns, anomalies and areas for improvement.

“Every business faces an unprecedented number of challenges and it’s hard to know how to start tackling them,” said Dr Stefan Sigg, chief product officer at Software AG. “Estimates for global IT spending have been revised down, and various research suggests that companies are struggling to get value from their investments.

“One reason is often a lack of analytical insights into core business processes. Process Mining is designed to identify efficiency gains and other immediate performance improvements with a direct return on investment.

“When the pressure is on to make changes, what’s more fundamental than having the whole picture?”

The new platform is available in three versions: a free version aimed at less experienced users, ARIS Process Mining Elements, as well as two paid versions that cater for more experienced professionals, ARIS Process Mining Advanced and ARIS Process Mining Enterprise.

“Software AG Process Mining Cloud provides rich insight into operational data allowing you to analyse how the business actually functions, not just the best-case, compliant scenarios,” commented an early trialist of the product, Liam O’Neill, senior consultant at BPM-D.

“Having this powerful process mining engine now available through the cloud increases visibility, access and the speed with which innovative ideas can be enacted.”
