Cyberfort appoints Andy Simpson-Pirie as chief technology officer

Simpson-Pirie, who will bring over 20 years’ experience in cyber security and managed services, will lead the technology strategy at Cyberfort, as well as developing products and services, with an emphasis on cyber security for customers.

The new recruit at Cyberfort previously served as Portfolio CTO of LDC, Lloyd’s Banking Group’s private equity arm, leading commercial technology transformation. Prior to this, he was CTO at Zurich Insurance.

Founded in the summer of 2019, UK cyber security firm Cyberfort currently has over 30 years’ collective experience and expertise, and the company has five offices around the country.

The UK department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) released a report last month that found an increase in cyber security employment.
